About Me- Contact

Ceramic House Number was born in 1990 completely by accident. A new mom in her first house, I was desperately trying to find a kitchen backsplash that didn't look cheap, tacky, or mass-produced. When I couldn't find it, I dipped into my background as an artist and painter, bought some high quality tiles and paint, and did it myself.

Growing up I was exposed to so much variety in color, culture, and art, I wanted to create something unique, high quality, vibrant, and beautiful. I've always loved the colorful Majolica ceramics with the bold primary colors and the rich designs. This allowed me to create my designs that you see here on my site.

Because I always use top quality porcelain tiles, My plaques and murals can be used anywhere - indoor, outdoor, in a pool, fireplace, you name it. Tiles and colors will never crack or fade.

I love the creative process, and am delighted to talk with customers about color pallets, designs, and moods - all to achieve the look and feel you want. All of my designs are fully customizable, and I welcome any special project. I answer my email very quickly, Please feel free to email me with any ideas or questions regarding a custom order. My phone number will be available upon request.

I have a longstanding tradition of privacy and trust with all my clients. Personal details such as payment, name, address, email, and phone information are secure and never exposed or sold.

I love trees. Because of this, I use recycled boxes and shipping materials wherever possible.

Thank you all for the beautiful emails and comments you send my way. I am always delighted to see where my plaques end up.  Please send a picture to add on my site, and tag me on instagram at @ceramichousenumbers.
